Reading for the Love of It

In February, 2020 I was able to work with Apple Education Canada at the Reading for the Love of it Conference in Toronto. Apple took over one of the ballrooms at the conference and transformed it into a learning commons.

I specifically introduced Drawing & Photography to the participants. Participants dropped by to learn how to use the existing camera features and drawing tools on the iPad to help young children capture and share what they see, feel, and know about the world around them. Become familiar with the Camera and Photo app and explore basic photo and draw techniques. Learn to use the iPad to capture and edit photos that share ideas, tell stories, and document learning.

It was such an amazing event! We had so many participants drop by and I got to help and work with so many amazing people from around the world who chose to attend the Conference.
